Sporting organisations have more scope for funding following broadening of guidelines for Round 43 of the Active Club Program and Member for Stuart, Dan van Holst Pellekaan MP, is encouraging organisations to make the most of this opportunity.
“For the first time, Round 43 of the Active Club Program is providing incentive to projects with strategic merit, with applicants able to apply for up to 100 per cent of the cost, up to $25,000.
“This is a wonderful opportunity and I strongly encourage sporting organisations to consider applying.”
For Round 43 utility-related projects, such as solar panels, water saving initiatives, universal access change room refurbishments, and resurfacing projects, organisations can apply for up to 100 per cent of the total project cost.
“This is the first of two funding rounds for this year, with the electorate of Stuart allocated the same amount of funding as every other electorate in South Australia.”
Facility projects will only be considered for Round 43. A budget of $400,000 is available for all facility applications that are not successful in Round 43, which will be assessed on a state-wide merit basis.
Applications close 10 April 2017, with applicants to be notified on 31 July 2017.
